The UFC wrestling career has always amazed spectators with great fights to study for here https://dawnoftears.org/. Colourful photos of fights and sports news will not only help to keep up with all the sporting events.
Ronda Rousey has already become a UFC legend for her early success and long record of winless fights. She has had 12 consecutive fights, and in all but one of them she has managed to get an early victory. The only time she had to put in a few extra rounds. The incredible winning streak was interrupted at the bout with Holly Holm.
Rosie’s fatal fight
Holly Holm has only just begun her career move. Despite some impressive wins, her debut fights left a lot to be desired. Almost no one believed in her victory over Rousey, given that, despite decent technique, Holly clearly lacks confidence in her own abilities.
Ronda got the fight off to a flying start, confidently thwarting all of her opponent’s attacks. Only the second half of the first round proved to be quite different. Rosie “caught” several punches from Holm, and quite powerful and straight to the head. Towards the end of the round, Holly took a clean take-down, but she was not able to finish the last one. Despite the fact that Holly couldn’t knock out Rosie completely, she still took the round. This is the first round loss of Ronda’s career.
At the start of the second five rounds, Ronda felt even less confident. Moreover, the round lasted less than 1 minute at all. Initially there was some constant distance between the girls, after which Holm decided to test Ronda’s hold. The latter managed to hold, but almost immediately afterwards was lost after a “come-from-behind” left jab. In an attempt to recover, a decisive high-kick was formed into Rosie’s temple. Herb Dean had to stop the fight.
Lingering depression and giving up her UFC career
Ronda Rousey worked hard and literally clawed her way to success. The gruelling workouts kept her in shape, but clearly had a negative impact on her mental health. Used to being a role model and inspiration to girls around the world, Rhonda was so caught up in it that her first defeat nearly broke her.
After losing to Holly Holm, Rosie went straight into a deep depression. She disappeared from the press radar and wasn’t heard from on social media. Reappearing some time later, the girl admitted that her thoughts after the defeat were far more frightening. She even contemplated suicide.
From the abyss, Rhonda was pulled out of the abyss by the man she loved. In an interview, the athlete admitted that looking at him and thinking about wanting to have children with him, she was able to find the strength to overcome this crisis and continue to live. Although she left the UFC, she still has the desire to fight.
Interestingly, despite defeating Ronda, Holly failed to reclaim the superstar title and main monster in the women’s divisions. Immediately after her win, she fell into a new losing streak. Ronda’s title went to Amanda Nunez. Rousey herself pitched herself into wrestling, where her earnings are estimated at millions of dollars. In addition to her boxing skills, the girl has an attractive appearance and her formative story is still one of the most inspiring in the world of sports.
